Makeup Tips for Spring

Spring makeup tips are an important part of maintaining healthy skin. Spring is a time for renewal in nature and in your skin. As you look for ways to improve your skin quality during these early months, remember that less is more. Loading your face down with too much makeup will only have it unhealthy and dull looking for the upcoming summer months.

There are several things to keep in mind when looking for a few ways to update your spring makeup.

1. Start with the right foundation. After the harshness of the winter months, it is important to use a moisturizing foundation or just a bronzing moisturizer for spring. This will help to rehydrate your skin, leaving it supple and beautiful.
2. Try lighter colors and more springtime flare when selecting eye shadows and blushes. You want to use color since it helps to give that all inspiring natural springtime look, but try pastels rather than harsher tones. This will open up your look.
3. Choose a lighter mascara for the sprint months, too. If you apply mascara, you want to focus on a product that is high in quality. Many people like to use their eyes as the focal point of their face. You can make or break that look using mascara. Go for lighter texture and even a lighter color if possible.
4. Update your lipstick too! Always use SPF but you may need to using a conditioning lipstick rather than a traditional product.
5. If you are using foundation, be sure it is a lighter color. No one is tan just yet; that is around the corner. Do not overdo it on the tinting in your foundation.
